The following release notes provide information about feature enhancements and resolved issues in iamGIS as we continue to deliver exceptional value with our simple yet powerful GIS solutions.

3/25/2025

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed the ability to add advanced work orders to an asset
  • Fixed issue where name does not display after linking a work order or asset
  • Printing a building level now centers that building level on the pdf document
  • Printing a basic work order now includes the name and description fields

Feature enhancements

  • Add your own custom view to the results table. Save your view, and it will automatically be restored the next time you return.
  • V2 Work Orders now correctly appear on top of asset layers, and when multiple work orders are stacked on top of each other, clicking on the any of those will result in a feature detail window that allows you to click through all the work orders placed at that exact same location.
  • View Details Link from Work Order Email now routes user to the Work Order Dashboard unless they lack access, in which case they are directed to the Feature Detail window on their first map with Work Order V2, unless no location is associated with the Work Order in which case they are directed to the Home Dashboard with a Work Order edit modal presented.
  • Work Order V1 creation option for Citizen Engagement has been fully removed.
  • Created email templates for MapYourDistrict with updated logos, URLs, and content.

Resolved Issues

  • Sanitary Manholes now populate as expected.
  • Fixed a recurring issue with the green SAVE button on the Paris Parcel Layer.
  • Restored "Created" system variable as a calculated field option for Work Order V2.
  • Fixed Citizen Engagement embed preview not loading on the Demo site.
  • Resolved issue preventing users from updating tickets from the Widget or WO Dashboard.
  • Date and Time fields now validate correctly after conversion to V2.
  • Fixed an issue where assets' SAVE button remained active due to code error.
  • System Variables for "Created" and "Last Modified" are now available in WOV2 Template Settings.
  • RPG import now provides a warning when missing expected data.
  • Fixed an issue where parcel layers required a "Refresh Map" to successfully load.
  • ArcGIS Import now correctly refreshes the Feature Server list when switching connections.
  • Fixed an issue preventing new features from drawing on the map immediately.

Feature enhancements

  • Replaced the "Need Help?" functionality with a new form to improve deliverability of help tickets submitted by customers.
  • Added functionality to the Mini-Map in the Work Order Dialog for better location assignment.
  • Added back the Work Order widgets on the main dashboard. These display only Version 2 Work Orders.
  • When creating a new Work Order, the "Select a Template" dropdown will now retain the last-used value using localStorage.
  • Refactored notification labels to correctly display names instead of internal IDs.
  • Refactored direct link routing logic for improved navigation between projects and Work Orders.
  • Ensured deleted Work Order templates are properly removed from the system.
  • Improved User Experience for Advanced Work Orders in the Map.
  • Updated map permissions ensuring correct asset access control for Users.
  • Enhanced Citizen Engagement status updates to reflect Work Order status.
  • Citizen Engagement email notifications are delivered to citizen when a Citizen Engagement issue is converted to a Work Order, and when that Work Order is Completed.
  • Implemented new email templates for customer notifications, for Citizen Engagement.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed the "View Details" button in Work Order email notification template, with improved routing logic for Direct Links to Work Order Version 2.
  • Fixed issue where layer styles in settings may not update unless the browser cache is refreshed.
  • Fixed visibility issues for advanced Work Orders in the map header settings.
  • Fixed state field not saving on the Work Order dashboard, which caused a red "Oops" error.
  • Fixed an issue to allow organization Admins to see all Work Orders.
  • Fixed issue where task layers were not displaying on shared/public maps.
  • Resolved double modal issue occasionally appearing on the admin page.
  • Fixed Work Order layer linking issue, allowing users to create new Work Orders properly.
  • Fixed issue in recurring project logic which was preventing system from automatically creating new projects/work orders.
  • Fixed Feature Details Print function failure and ensured Standard Fields are included in printed documents.
  • Refactored Template permissions, preventing unauthorized edits.
  • Fixed bulk edit not working for Work Order Version 2 items in the Results Window.
  • Ensured New Work Orders do not show a delete option until they actually exist.
  • Resolved issues with project/work order attachments failing to upload properly.
  • Fixed Work Order state field sub-symbolization not applying correctly in new templates.
  • Addressed map header settings issue, ensuring visibility state toggles function properly.
  • Fixed caching issue, ensuring new assets render correctly after being created  and updated.
  • Resolved direct link issues in query parameters to prevent RecordID and WorkOrderID collisions.

  • Ensured that time in the Work Dashboard and Feature Details calculates correctly.
  • Fixed notification issues from the Feature Details window not being sent properly.
  • Resolved issue where clicking the Work Order modal resulted in a red popup error.
  • Addressed issue where work orders failed to attach media properly.

Feature enhancements

  • Integrate Status Page with Application for improved communication regarding incidents/outages.
  • Enabled timeline bars in Reports tab of the Work dashboard to be clickable, opening the project edit dialog.
  • Generate QR code to Direct Link from icon on Feature Details window: Added functionality to generate a QR code linking directly to a feature's details.
  • Map Settings styled with Tabs to organize Details, Layers and Security.

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved an issue where organization admins were unable to create new maps.
  • Fixed an incorrect display of overdue work order counts.
  • Made the clickable area for Events and Esri ArcGIS Syncs more user-friendly by extending it to the entire row.
  • Ensured that GeoJSON data is saved correctly for work orders generated through recurring projects.
  • Corrected the location-saving functionality for work orders created via recurring projects.
  • Fixed an issue where state data was not populated for newly created organizations and users.
  • Updated the Dashboard to display information specific to the current organization.
  • Improved navigation transitions between narrow and wide layouts for smoother operation.
  • Enhanced the user experience by making tab transitions on the Work Order Dashboard smoother.

Feature enhancements

  • Enabled clicking on the "Associated Work Orders" number to open the Work Orders tab within the Project Edit dialog.
  • Enhanced the Report Tab so overview metrics now open a modal displaying a list of related projects, allowing navigation to the project edit dialog.
  • Hide Deep Dive Reporting Tabs on Mobile: Adjusted the UI to hide Deep Dive reporting tabs on mobile devices for improved usability.
  • Esri Conflict Resolution Select All: Added a "Select All to Resolve All" option for updates in the Esri Conflict Resolution window.
  • Automated Work Order Emails now include a button linking directly to that feature.

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved an issue where session and local storage were not being cleared upon logout.
  • Work Order Location Error: Fixed a bug where the current location in the inline-map-view component was incorrectly saved as the work order location.
  • Line Layer Visibility During Style Editing: Addressed an issue where line layers failed to display when editing styles and the layer was invisible.
  • Esri Conflict Resolution Value Deltas: Resolved a front-end formatting issue causing value deltas to be missing in Esri conflict resolution.
  • Layer Settings Save Button Issue: Fixed a bug where the Save button was enabled incorrectly when loading a line style layer in Layer Settings.
  • Work Order Deletion Dialog: Resolved a problem where the Work Order Dashboard dialog stayed open and the list remained unchanged after deleting a work order.
  • Duplicating Map Settings: Fixed an issue with duplicating map settings functionality.
  • Schedule Showing Dates Past End Date: Corrected a bug where the Schedule displayed dates beyond the specified end date.

Feature enhancements

  • Recurring Schedule Calendar Picker: Removed the time option and defaulted the recurring schedule picker to 12AM for consistency.
  • Feature Detail Link Sorting: Enhanced sorting options in the Feature Detail Link tab to display the most recent items by Created Date.
  • Add Work Order Button in Project Dialog's Work Order Tab: Added a button to allow creating or associating existing work orders directly from the Project Tab.
  • Enhanced Imagery for City of Medina Water Dept: Implemented enhanced imagery for the City of Medina (OH) Water Department.
  • Enhanced Imagery for Corydon (ON): Enabled enhanced imagery for Corydon and toggled it ON by default.
  • Unlock Users Button on Admin Page: Added a button on the admin page to unlock locked-out user accounts.
  • Enable Org Selection in Navbar for Support team: Enabled organization selection directly from the navigation bar for better usability.
  • Clear Session Storage on Org Switch: Improved functionality to clear session storage when the current organization is switched.
  • Map Visibility for WOs: Restricted map views to show only work orders assigned to the current user (Admins can still view all).
  • Restrict Reporting Page to Admins: Limited access to the Reporting page so that only Admins can view it.
  • Past Due Work Order Status: Enhanced UI to compute Past Due status when the work order’s Due Date is exceeded.
  • Set Map Origin in New WO Dialog: Updated the new Work Order dialog to set the map origin automatically according to the current map view.

Resolved Issues

  • Turn on Enhanced Imagery for Willard OH by default.
  • Fixed a problem preventing users from creating work order layers via the map interface.
  • Fixed errors occurring in SendScheduleLayerEvent functionality.
  • Fixed issue blocking the conversion of Citizen Engagement Issues to Work Orders on Engage Page,
  • Fixed "You have unsaved changes" in WO Dialog: Resolved a false "unsaved changes" warning in the Work Order dialog.
  • Fixed an issue where importing an Esri layer from Layer Settings failed.
  • Resolved a bug where work order creation displayed layers not associated with the current organization.
  • Fixed a legacy issue where changing the line style caused lines to disappear.

Feature enhancements

  • Manage Size of Polygon Assets: Added functionality allowing users to manage the size of polygon assets more effectively.
  • Project # to Project Name in Recent Activity: Updated the Recent Activity section on the Work Order Dashboard to display the project name instead of the project number.
  • Default Sort Order in List View: Improved list views to display the most recently created projects or work orders first by default.
  • Add History Tab to Project Dialog: Added a new "History" tab to the Project Dialog, allowing users to view project changes and updates.
  • Asset Report: Change History by Person now available in asset report deep dive tab to track changes by individual users.

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved an issue causing delays when the Deep Dive tab initially loads.
  • Corrected inconsistent behavior where some buildings did not scale to Large when set to do so.
  • Fixed multiple bugs affecting the correct display and control of line sizes.
  • Resolved a problem where work order project schedule was not generating properly, despite being configured to extend through 2026.
  • Fixed a bug preventing the display of upcoming schedules for projects with completion dates in November.
  • Esri Sync Import Issue fix: Addressed a problem that prevented importing Esri Sync data from the Map Settings.
  • Fix project-management/v1/search throwing 500 error: Resolved a server error occurring during project management searches.
  • Fixed a problem where users could not locate work orders created via the lasso tool, especially when searching "by Assigned To."
  • Fix issue where the last modified date for record attachments was incorrectly showing as '0001-01-01 00:00:00.'
  • Fix event notifications not triggering correctly from Layer Settings.

Feature enhancements

  • Added the ability to print maps or save to PDF via the Print Map button.
  • Added the ability to print facility maps or save to PDF via the Print Building button.
  • Editing Sections within the Layer Settings dialog are now designed with Tabs.
  • User can now control font size of buildings, feature symbols & lines.
  • Added an Initial Maps deep-dive Report tab to the Reporting suite, including a report for Private Maps.
  • Added an Initial Project deep-dive Report tab to the Reporting suite, including a report for All Project Data in the past 12 months.
  • Added an Initial Work Order deep-dive Report tab to the Reporting suite, including a report for All (standard field) Work Order Data in the past 12 months.
  • Added option allowing user to Export Reports, as CSV or PDF, in the Reporting suite.

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved issue preventing the creation of to-dos on the Feature Details window.
  • Fixed a bug where the profile phone number was incorrectly displaying the same number for all users.
  • Addressed a bug that caused the Map Settings dialog to close unexpectedly when the "ADD" button was clicked.
  • Fixed a bug by repositioning the "Create" button to the top of the Draw window dialog for better usability.
  • Fix Email Notifications not sending for some Work Order scenarios: Resolved an issue where email notifications were not being sent in certain work order scenarios.

  • Fix Map Symbology on WO Dashboard: Fixed the map symbols displayed on the Work Order Dashboard.
  • Fix Job Scheduler Issue: Corrected a problem with the Job Scheduler where the upcoming schedule was calculated incorrectly after the job's end date.
  • Fix Invalid Mime Type Handling for Esri Attachments: Addressed a scenario where an Esri attachment had an incorrect mime type, preventing proper thumbnail creation.
  • Fix Saving Work Order Todos Issue: Fixed the problem preventing the saving of to-do items related to work orders.
  • Fix Profile Page Org Switching Issue: Resolved an issue with switching organizations from the profile page and addressed migration concerns.
  • Fix Map Drawing Component Refactor for Work Orders: Improved the drawing component on the map for Work Orders Version 1 and 2.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where completing all work orders (WOs) in a project without tasks did not automatically complete the project.
  • Corrected the issue where date filters did not retain the selected date in the results window.
  • Fixed the scheduler freezing issue for some recurring projects.
  • Now stays on the current pagination page after saving a WO or project.
  • Fixed the "Reason" field not updating when the "State" of a work order is changed in the dashboard.
  • Resolved an issue where the system didn't recognize changes (isDirty check) when adding a user to a group on the account page.

Export fields - We are once again including the default work order fields (state, reason, assigned to, due, started, completed) in exports.

Toggle layer visibility while loading - We fixed an issue where a layer will still show on the map after toggling the visibility off while it is loading.

Results window close from fullscreen - We fixed an issue to allow closing the results window while it is expanded fullscreen.

Copy Layer - Copy what you need when cloning a layer - either just the layer configuration or the layer configuration + data (NEW). When selecting Clone Layer + Data the new layer will contain a copy of all of the configuration from the current layer settings along with a copy of all of the layer's data - features, feature data, feature history, and feature media. Resolved Issues

Profile picture edit not saving - We fixed a caching issue with profile pictures that made it appear that edits were not saving properly.

Media Size - We fixed a conversion issue to calculate the proper file size for feature media.
