Quickly and easily make a Map publicly accessible.
NOTE: Access limited to Editors + Admins only
Creating a Shared Map allows the public to have a view-only link of layers and their attributes.
From the toolbox, select the Share button.
Click the +New button. Give the Public map a name.
Selecting the checkbox next to the layer name will include that layer to the link. Any layers not selected will not be included in this link. Any changes made to the selected layers, like editing the features or their attribute fields will be shown in real time for anyone with the link.
Show Details toggle - Toggling on the Show Details gives the public access to the feature's details as well as the media tab. Any information included will be visible to the public. Toggling off will only show users the points, now allowing them to select to view that feature's information.
Active Toggle - Toggling on or off gives the public access to the shared link. By toggling off, the public link will no longer work.
Adding a map to the Dashboard - Toggle on the Add to Dashboard switch to add a thumbnail of map to the dashboard. This allows users to click on map thumbnail and take them directly into map.
