Manage map details, options, layers, and security in the map settings.
NOTE: Access is restricted to Admins only
Overview
Name
The name of this map, to identify it amongst any other maps you may have in your organization on the dashboard.
Description
The description of the map as it will display in this map.
Default Base Layer
Allows Admins to set the background imagery for all users in the account. Select between:
Default - Satellite imagery at a close scale and street imagery the farther you zoom out.
Street imagery - A standard base image
Satellite imagery - View the most up to date satellite imagery of your location.
Layer Visibility
By clicking the eye icon next to the layer name, you can choose which layers are on/off when users log into the map.
You can also reorder layers by grabbing the layer by it's icon and dragging to the desired order in the layer list.
Adding New Layers
Below your last layer, select the plus sign. This allows the admin to create a new point, line or area layer. You can also import a layer.
Advanced Settings
Under the options to create a new point, you can also link layers from other maps within your account. Linking layers from other maps allows for features to be added/edited to those layers within one map, and those changes been seen in other maps within your account.
